Request for Proposals for Artists

Author Decatur Art Trail
The Town of Decatur is now accepting proposals for the Decatur Art Trail Project. The project is seeking multiple artists or artist-teams to complete public art in downtown Decatur, TN. The selected artists will work with a town committee to develop artwork including, but not limited to, sidewalk art, utility pole art, murals, sculptures, and other art to be placed along the new Decatur Art Trail. Planned artwork will involve both themes closely related to Meigs County and Meigs County history as well as general colorful art to enhance the beauty of the downtown and park area.
Interested artists should submit the following:
- Biography
- Resume
- Previous artwork samples
Completed should be submitted to the following contact via mail, email, or dropped-off by April 20th, 2021 at 4pm.
